1. What’s that?
The EPCS Flash Update Utilities package is used for firmware upgrade. You can download a binary file package from the OpenVox’s Web site.
The epcs binary was built with:

pciutils 3.0.0
2. Operation
Note: Never Turn power OFF while the update process is continuing. When the update is completed, the system will reboot.
2.1. The Firmware Update Process for OpenVox G400P PCI card
a) Download firmware for your G400P. http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/firmwares/ b) Download the latest OpenVox G400P driver and install http://www.chan-extra.org/download/ c) Stop asterisk d) Unload the driver modprobe -r opvxg4xx e) Load the driver modprobe opvxg4xx burn=1 (Note: you must add the kernel parameter when loading the driver) f) Run the epcs flash upgrade ./epcs
2.2. The Firmware Update Process for OpenVox A810/A1610/A2410 PCI/PCI-E card
a) Download firmware for your A2410P. http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/firmwares/ b) Download the latest OpenVox A2410P driver and install http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/drivers/dahdi-linux-complete/ c) Stop asterisk d) Load the driver modprobe opvxa24xx e) Run the epcs flash upgrade ./epcs

a) Download firmware for your D430/D230 http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/firmwares/ b) Download the latest OpenVox D430/D230 driver and install http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/drivers/dahdi-linux-complete/ c) Stop asterisk d) Load the driver modprobe wct4xxp e) Run the epcs flash upgrade ./epcs

a) Download firmware for your D130 http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/firmwares/ b) Download the latest OpenVox D130 driver and install http://downloads.openvox.cn/pub/drivers/dahdi-linux-complete/ c) Stop asterisk d) Load the driver modprobe opvxd115 e) Run the epcs flash upgrade ./epcs
